Job Description

Belmond La Samanna is currently looking for one culinary intern and one pastry intern.

Both of you will provide an excellent and consistent level of service to our customers in order to maximize their satisfaction. You will have to understand Belmond standards, to know our menus and you will discover the Culinary department in our luxury establishment.

You will help the Chef and Sous-Chef on all the kitchen outlets:

  • Ensure the implementation to allow the service to run in the best conditions of efficiency
  • Control, installation and cleaning of the equipment of his party.
  • Depending on the volume of activity of the various services, you may be required to participate in the activities of the various outlets : Breakfast, Beach bar, Restaurant, Room service...
  • Participate in all preparation and implementation tasks.
  • You make sure that the safety instructions are observed when using the equipment available.


  • Have a real interest for hotel industry and food.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French with hotel guests, suppliers, and employees to their understanding. Additional foreign language skills a plus.
  • Flexible, reactive, open-minded and curious.
