In this role you will be responsible for establishing and directing the sales activities of the Cap Juluca and La Samanna resorts with a view to outperform all business competitors through intelligent partnerships and well developed alliances.
Main responsibilities:
Develop, conduct and oversee all sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional activities
Achieving and/or surpassing established revenue goals;
Implementing sales action plans to increase business from existing accounts;
Researching and soliciting new business from within assigned markets;
Qualifying sales leads and conducting necessary follow through to secure transient room business;
Leading the sales teams of both resorts (Cap Juluca and La Samanna).
Travels as necessary to make sales calls on accounts, participates in sales activities at trade shows, and as needed to promote sales of transient rooms;
Prepare and submit plans, budgets, progress and annual sales reports
Requirements
A university degree or college degree in business administration, marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field is required.
Proven and trackable sales success and a minimum of 5 years supervisory or management experience in the sales and marketing of international luxury hotel brands.
A sound knowledge of the product and competitive environment, as well as a strong network of established connections with luxury brand tour/travel operators in North America and Europe is required
Market analysis, effective communication, presentation skills
Languages Required: English. Proficiency in other Languages would be a plus.
The position can be based in St. Martin, Anguilla or Miami - Work authorization would be required
